NEW YORK—On April 6, New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts returned to Lincoln Center to kick off 13 shows in New York City. Demand was high, and two additional shows were added to the schedule.
“I loved the show. I wanted to come all the time, wanted to come, but I always was traveling, or something happened,” Mr. Liz said. “But I am so happy that I’m here. The show was much more than what I expected.”
Mr. Liz is the founder and CEO of several organizations as part of his mission to help uplift the Hispanic community through teaching financial literacy and investing in future technologies.
“When I learned exactly what it was, I was just amazed. Because it is not just a dance, it is a culture being transmitted for thousands of years to us,” he said.
“Very enjoyable, very colorful, very good energy,” said Ms. Pierre, a vice president in banking. “Very diverse stories and very diverse backgrounds.”
“I like the stories,” Ms. Pierre said.
