SEOUL, South Korea—Ms. Kim Mi-ran, movie and drama actress, was inspired and uplifted by Shen Yun Performing Arts.
“The programs compared evil and virtue so clearly. I was deeply touched. I understood more that I should be kind,” she said. “I believe the bad people will become good [seeing this].”
Ms. Kim was astounded by Shen Yun’s beauty.
“This is a spectacle from heaven … Without any words, dancers delivered so many beautiful meanings in an artistic way through their movements,” she said. “I really want to suggest everybody I know to attend.”
Each Shen Yun performance consists of nearly 20 vignettes, presented through highly-expressive art forms such as classical Chinese dance, original orchestral music performed live, soloists who sing in the bel canto tradition, animated digital backdrops, and more.
“The beauty of the performance dazzled my eyes. The sheer joy I obtained far exceeds my expectations. This is a very interesting show,” he said. “I enjoyed it a lot. I’m very happy.”
Mr. Heo said Shen Yun’s dynamic backdrop was very powerful.
“When the Buddha came out on the backdrop, the scene was stunningly majestic,” he said. “I really love it.”
