STOCKHOLM—The Nobel Prize in chemistry was awarded Wednesday to scientists David Baker, Demis Hassabis, and John Jumper for their work with proteins.

Baker works at the University of Washington in Seattle, while Hassabis and Jumper both work at Google Deepmind in London.
