SANTA ANA, Calif.—With spring on the horizon, officials in Santa Ana announce the groundbreaking of a new community park.
The public is invited to join the groundbreaking ceremony on Jan. 12 at 3 p.m.
The 1.18-acre park has been considered by the city since 2017, according to Recreation and Community Services Supervisor William Sandoval.
Expected to be completed in 2023, the $4 million project will be built on the northeast corner at Raitt and Myrtle streets.
Residents can look forward to areas for skating, exercising, and picnicking, as well as butterfly interpretive garden, walking loop, and other amenities.
