A plane made an emergency landing in San Jose, California on Thursday.

The small plane landed on Capital Expressway between Quimby Road and Tully Avenue at about 8 a.m., reported ABC.

That intersection is right next to the Eastridge Shopping center.

The plane landed shortly after taking off from Reid Hillview Airport in San Jose, according to KRON.

Roads have re-opened in the area after closing initially after the landing.

The plane is in good shape and no injuries have been reported. It was towed away around 9 a.m.

Federal Aviation Administration records show that the plane is a fixed-wing single-engine Bellanca 7ECA registered to Amelia Reid Aviation out of San Jose, and is part of the AeroDynamic Aviation flight school on Robert Fowler Way.
