Sliced mushrooms are being recalled because the punnets they are in may contain large pieces of white plastic. The recall applies to mushroom products from Woolworths, Coles, Aldi and independent supermarkets in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and the ACT.
On July 13, Mushroom exchange, a Costa Group company, recalled the 200g, 275g and 500g punnets of brown and white sliced mushrooms that have a best before date of July 9, except for 500g Coles mushrooms, for which the date is July 11.
