Bismarck and Fargo, North Dakota; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Overland Park, Kansas; and Lincoln, Nebraska, have all been listed among the top 10 cities for renters in the United States. A recent study by WalletHub, a personal finance website, compared 182 cities across the nation, ranking them according to rental affordability, quality of life, cost of living, job market, safety, recreation, and weather among several other metrics.
WalletHub says that more than 45 million U.S. households now rent their homes. WalletHub Analyst Cassandra Happe told The Epoch Times that renting is becoming more popular given the current housing market.
