OTTAWA—Many protesters still remain in Canada’s capital to protest COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.
The Freedom Convoy first began as a movement of truckers who created convoys from different parts of Canada to drive to Ottawa and demand the federal government remove its requirement for truck drivers crossing the U.S.-Canada border have COVID-19 vaccination. Many have since joined the movement to protest all COVID-19 restrictions and mandates.
