MIDDLETOWN—The American Legion Post 151 held its first car show June 26 as a benefit for their veterans relief fund, a fund that helps veterans in need. The show started at 10:00 a.m. and by 11:00 a.m. organizer Roger Reed estimated there were about 60 cars, much more than he expected. Reed said this is the first time they have done a car show but they hope to make it annual event. He was humbled by all the support, he said, and thanked the community for all that they do for veterans.
