New Orange is the New Black season 2 pictures have been released, and new details about the season have also been discussed by Uzo Aduba (Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren).
The pictures give insight into some of the situations in the upcoming season, which will hit Netflix on June 6, 2014.
Meanwhile, Aduba spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming season.
Asked about Crazy Eyes’ possible new clique that is shown in one of the trailers, Aduba said:
“What’s interesting is we get to watch this season how stories change, alliances form. As we saw in season 1…we saw teams and groups being aligned, and I think that this season, what we do is kind of delve a little bit deeper into who some of these people are, and what these groups mean to each other, and how they relate to each other and within those groups how these relationships relate to each other. So it'll be interesting.”
Aduba also said that the background of her character will be further explored in season 2.
A key part of season 2 is the introduction of a new character, played by Lorraine Toussaint, amid the focus on more women than Piper.
Vee is described as “a longtime street tough who ran her own drug business, recruiting children to serve as runners.”
