Orange County COVID-19 Hospitalizations Remain Stable

SANTA ANA—Orange County’s COVID-19 hospitalizations have remained stable this week, prompting one epidemiologist to speculate the county may have reached its peak in this latest Delta variant-fueled surge.

The Orange County Health Care Agency reported that hospitalizations due to the virus increased from 497 Thursday to 498 on Friday, while the number of patients in intensive care units dipped from 126 to 120.
