The initial summary of Robert Mueller’s report doesn’t just confirm that there was no collusion. It also confirms that President Donald Trump did nothing to interfere with the investigation throughout the nearly two-year-long witch hunt.

“The Special Counsel regulations require that I provide you with ‘a description and explanation of instances (if any) in which the Attorney General’ or acting Attorney General ‘concluded that a proposed action by a Special Counsel was so inappropriate or unwarranted under established Departmental practices that it should not be pursued,’” Attorney General Bill Barr informed Congress on March 22. “There were no such instances during the Special Counsel’s investigation.”

In other words, Mueller had free rein to pursue his investigation without interference from the executive branch.

For nearly two years, Mueller’s team of biased, partisan investigators relentlessly reviewed millions of documents, conducted dozens of interviews, and spent more than $30 million digging into claims of alleged collusion between Trump’s campaign and the Russian government. Barr told Congress, officially and unequivocally, that the Attorney General’s Office didn’t once prevent Mueller from taking any kind of action at any point in that lengthy and wide-ranging investigation.

The longer we waited for Mueller to submit his report, the louder the Democrats and media screamed about transparency, preemptively accusing Trump and his administration of interfering with Mueller’s investigation and hiding facts from the American people long before the report was submitted to Barr.

But the real liberal circus began just moments after the media first learned that Mueller would not recommend any additional indictments in the case.

MSNBC host Chris Matthews, for instance, went on an angry rant against the president, suggesting that “maybe [Mueller] missed the boat” with his investigation.

“[We] know about the Trump Tower meeting in June 2016, we know about the meeting at the cigar bar with [Russian political consultant] Kilimnik,” he said. “My god, we know about all of those meetings with Kislyak at the Republican convention in Cleveland. All these dots we’re now to believe don’t connect.”

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) went so far as to suggest that he wouldn’t believe Barr’s version of the report, telling MSNBC in an interview that most of his colleagues won’t “accept a report unless its veracity is testified to by Bob Mueller.”

“[You] know, there will be a lot of questions as to whether he was pressured to wrap this up, if there were any political pressure put on him,” the lawmaker added.

The White House, which has always supported full transparency with the American people, released a statement after the report was delivered to the Department of Justice asserting that the president hasn’t been told anything about the contents of the Mueller report, and would leave the process of releasing it to the public in Barr’s capable hands.

Despite the overwhelming evidence that Mueller enjoyed total freedom to complete his probe without interference, the Democratic Party is not ready to give up its on own fake Russia narrative just yet.

In a desperate attempt to salvage at least something from the Mueller report, the Democrats now demand even more “transparency” from Barr, urging him to release the entire document, even though they know that it almost certainly contains classified information that he can’t legally make public.

In a joint statement, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) argued that Barr must also provide “underlying documentation and findings” of the Mueller investigation to Congress, which the attorney general, of course, has no obligation to do.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) went one step further, tweeting that “Americans deserve to know the truth now that the Mueller report is complete,” and that “Barr must publicly testify under oath about the investigation’s findings.”

“We need total transparency here,” she stressed.

In liberal-ese, it seems, the word “transparency” means “information that fits the Democrat narrative”—and they’re undoubtedly going to scream bloody murder when actual transparency fails to produce the outcome they want.

The probe is over, and the final verdict is in. It’s time to move on from the “collusion” hoax.
