New pictures released by police show the inside of the suspected Las Vegas gunman’s hotel room.

The hotel suite at Mandalay Bay is where police investigators say Stephen Paddock fired into a concert on Oct. 1, killing 58 people and leaving hundreds of others wounded.

The pictures, published in a preliminary report released on Jan. 19, show the inside of the suite.

Multiple automatic guns are strewn about the room, and one picture shows numerous bullets lying on the floor.

Police officers identified the room amidst the chaos on the day of the shooting and rushed toward it, but Paddock shot himself in order to avoid being arrested, according to officials.

The Las Vegas police also said on Jan. 19 in a press conference prior to the report’s release that they still hadn’t pinpointed a motive for the deadly attack.
