A man has been charged with murdering another man while he was lying on the ground in the NSW central west town of Forbes.
The 30-year-old man was allegedly seen attacking the other man on Johnson Street on the morning of January 23.
His alleged victim, believed to be aged in his 40s, died at the scene.
The 30-year-old was arrested at a home in the town on Saturday evening and charged with murder.
He appeared in Dubbo Local Court on Sunday morning and was refused bail to appear at Orange Local Court on Monday.
