Man Fatally Shot in Koreatown ID'd

LOS ANGELES— A 64-year-old man who was fatally shot in a parking lot in the Koreatown area was identified Feb. 25.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified the victim as Gregory Hall.

Hall was wounded about 7 p.m. Feb. 23 near Vermont Avenue and Sixth Street and died at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported.

The suspect, described only as a man, ran from the scene and was being sought, police said. A motive for the crime was not known.
