Tyler Perry’s “Love Thy Neighbor” returns to the Oprah Winfrey Network on Wednesday night after last week’s surprising episode, “The Kiss.”
In the episode, Linda and Philip shared a kiss.
Linda “is troubled by the kiss,” the episode description for the season 1 finale, “Love Thy Kiss,” says.
“Linda is at odds with herself over Philip’s kiss. Then, Will walks in while the gang is openly discussing Linda’s indiscretion,” another description says. “However, Will is quick to forgive Linda, which makes Hattie suspicious. Meanwhile, Floyd scolds Philip for not stepping up his game to get Linda.”
Love Thy Neighbor airs at 9 p.m.
The popular series helped OWN deliver its most-watched quarter in network history in quarter one of 2014.
On Tuesday and Wednesday nights, with “The Haves and The Have Nots” and “Love Thy Neighbor,” the network ranked number one for Africa-American women, the network announced.
“Love The Neighbor” was the number 1 original cable series for women 25-54 and total viewers.
The show, set at a family-run diner, was brought to a total order of 52 episodes due to its popularity. It was averaging over one million viewers at the time of the new order.
OWN debuted on January 1, 2011 and is available in 85 million homes.
There’s no word yet on a season 2 for “Love They Neighbor,” though it would be surprising if there wasn’t a season 2.
