Playing ball with the family dog is one thing, but romping around with a baby elephant takes “play” to a whole new level.
Suki is an adorable baby elephant that was born at Chai Lai Orchid in Thailand.
She is energetic and full of fun, and does not hesitate to play around with visitors, much to the delight of the young lady in the video below.
You would think that a roughly 200-pound (approx. 91-kilogram) hefty bundle of joy would crush you, but she in no way hurt the tourist after rolling around on the ground together.
Suki uses her trunk to try to hug the woman and pull her closer, then she decides to roll on top of her and play.
This interaction is special, and the rather large mamma elephant seems amused by the whole thing, as she just stands by and takes it all in, swishing her tail.
“That would be my dream to be cuddled by a baby elephant!!!” commented one person.
“Aww that is so cute, lucky person,” wrote another.
Considering how elephants are exploited by humans, it is encouraging to see scenes like these, as it may help to teach others that the elephants belong here just as much as we do.
Suki is a delight to watch, and we hope she can grow into a healthy and carefree adult elephant, with a future to look forward to.
The elephant refuge reassures us all that “no humans were in harmed in the making of this video.”
