Ken Norton Sr., a former boxing heavyweight champion, died this week. He was 70.

The Los Angeles Times reported his death, which took place at an Arizona hospital.

The Associated Press reported that his son confirmed his father’s death.

He was undergoing rehab for a stroke last year. He had congestive heart failure.

He is known for breaking the jaw of Muhammad Ali in 1973 during their championship bout.

Norton had a career record of 42-7-1 with 33 KOs.
