Jumaane D. Williams has won the New York City Council race for Brooklyn’s 45th District on Tuesday.
Williams is being called the winner after he has 73 percent of the vote with 61 percent of the district’s precincts reporting as of 10:54 p.m.
Williams won re-election and will serve in his second term.
