John Cena has greatly boosted Bray Wyatt’s career in the WWE during the intense rivalry between the two.

The feud between the two started earlier this year and was near the top of the storylines at WrestleMania 30, where Cena beat Wyatt.

Wyatt’s personality is the polar opposite of Cena’s--the shadowy figure next to the supposed straight shooter, the upcoming ruffian against the top dog, according to an analysis from Bleacher Report

“Bray Wyatt is the devil in the details of John Cena’s character. He is attempting to twist Cena’s words against him and expose him as the liar that he believes him to be. While Cena smiles and shakes hands, Bray is shaking his head and quietly whispering that it’s all an illusion.

“Bray is the man in the audience who knows how the trick works, and he can’t wait to tell everyone else about it.”

It doesn’t matter that Wyatt didn’t win at WrestleMania; wins and losses don’t matter to him. “His character is not concerned with beating Cena; he only wants to watch him burn.”

And the impact of the rivalry has boosted Wyatt to the top tier of WWE fighters, as fans now see him “as a bona fide main event player.

“Bray was given the chance to impress, and he has done just that.”

The pair are scheduled to fight at Extreme Rules early next month.
