Jenny McCarthy appears to be the latest celebrity to be hit by the massive hack that has left hundreds of previously private images on the Internet.
Pictures allegedly showing McCarthy, 41, naked appeared late Monday night, linked to on Reddit and other websites.
Users say that the photos appear to show McCarthy before she was married to Donnie Wahlberg.
“Well they got married in 2014 and the exif data says those two pictures of the guy with the pierced nipples are from April 9th, 2013,” said one.
McCarthy is a model, author, and actress, who begin her career in the early ‘90s as a nude model for Playboy magazine. She has starred in about a dozen movies, including John Tucker Must Die, and appeared in over a dozen television shows, including getting a stint on The View for a year.
The massive hack originally left pictures of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and multiple other women online earlier this month. New leaks died down in recent weeks but picked back up on Friday with pictures of Hope Solo and Lake Bell.
Numerous new pictures appeared on Saturday, including ones showing Vanessa Hudgens, Kim Kardashian, and Gabrielle Union. Some of the victims, such as Union and Meagan Good, have confirmed that the photos are real.
It’s unclear what prompted the activity to pick back up.
The hack was originally described as an iCloud security issue but Apple later said that there wasn’t an issue, just a group of hackers targeting specific celebrities. The company said that it was updating security procedures in reaction to the hack. An investigation was also started by the FBI.
Neither Apple nor the FBI has commented on the latest round of leaks, but many take the new pictures as indicating that the people behind the hacks haven’t been caught.
