India is set to take on Sri Lanka on Thursday, November 6 in the 2nd ODI of a 5 ODI series.

The match at Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad is slated to start at 1:30 p.m. IST (8 a.m. GMT).

The match will be broadcast on Star in India and CSN in Sri Lanka.

It will also be broadcast on Sky Sports 2 in the United Kingdom and Fox Sports in Australia.

Live streaming will be available through the broadcasters.

India won the 1st ODI by 169 runs.

CricInfo notes that Sri Lanka will be looking to shake off the loss and grab a win.

“Fans have largely been content to grant the team a little grace for the first loss, given the side’s lack of preparation, but they will soon expect significant improvement, even if a series victory is some distance off,” it said.

“Angelo Mathews took aim at the batsmen after the first game, and with an inexperienced attack in tow, the top six will seemingly have to carry Sri Lanka if they are to make something of this series.”

India, on the other hand, are without many players, such as Varun Aaron, Mohammad Shami, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

“That India managed a mammoth score in the first ODI without Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni suggests substantial batting depth, and as the bowling had clicked in the last match as well, Sri Lanka will have to raise their game significantly to challenge them,” CricInfo said.

The 3rd ODI will be on Sunday November 9 in Hyderabad; the 4th ODI will be on Thursday, November 13 in Kolkata; and the 4th ODI will be on Sunday, November 16 in Ranchi.
