The nude photos leak that hit Hayden Panettiere recently is quickly becoming a thing of the past, as Nashville season 3 premieres on Wednesday night.
Panettiere, who plays Juliette on the show, was filming this season while pregnant.
Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley) told Taste of Country that Panettiere stayed professional and dedicated while on set.
“The only thing that’s changed is she has to lay down more often. Her feet are hurting,” he said. “She brings it every day, so we have a good time working together.”
Jackson says that about seven episodes have been filmed so far, and not every cast member has worked with the pregnant Panettiere, who is due in December.
He wouldn’t reveal whether he or label executive Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson) is the baby’s father--they’re the two most likely candidates--but the blog notes that there’s always twists in the show.
Jackson did say that the first few episodes are trying for Avery, as he’s “spiraling” out of control after learning that Juliette cheated on him.
“The arc of Season 2 was great, taking Avery from sort of a narcissistic guy who learns some humility and sort of became more mature,” he said. “But I think the betrayal of Juliette is sort of challenging that.”
Panettiere, 25, has stayed silent amid the purported naked pictures leak that appeared to include at least six photos of her recently.
The actress, perhaps best known for playing Claire Bennet on “Heroes,” is engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
ABC hasn’t revealed much about the upcoming season but there’s a tease involving Juliette in the episode 2 description. “Juliette deals with some life-changing news and prepares for a big audition, where she runs into some familiar competition,” it says.
And in episode 3, “Juliette struggles to manage her secret which could prevent her from getting a career-defining movie role, and she meets the leading man who would play her love interest if she got the part.”
