Gucci Mane, the Atlanta-based rapper, announced release dates for “Trap House 4” and “Trap God 3” recently, and he said he’d like to give thanks to his fans.
Gucci is currently serving out a 39-month-long prison sentence for weapons charges.
“To all my fans thanks for all your letters of encouragement and support #WOP,” he tweeted Wednesday.
“I’m dropping the World War 3D series,” Gucci said in a recorded announcement, according to HipHopDX.
He added: “Three albums in one day. [The] G.R.E.E.N. Album by the Migos, The P.U.R.P.L.E. Album by Young Thug, and The W.H.I.T.E. Album with Peewee Longway. I would like to thank Mike WiLL Made It, 808 Mafia, Sonny Digital, Metro Boomin...and the Honorable C.N.O.T.E. for their help in producing the 2014 soundtrack for the summer…July 4, I’m dropping Trap House 4. And September 13, I’m dropping Trap God 3. Even though I’m locked up I still run the streets from jail.”
“Trap House 4” will come out on July 4 and “Trap God 3” will be released Sept. 13.
He also tweeted about what the acronyms mean for the album titles.
“The G.R.E.E.N. Album Definition... Get Rich Everything Else is Nonsense,” he tweeted. “The P.U.R.P.L.E. Album Definition... People Usually Ridicule the Powerful Lead by Example.” He also wrote: “The W.H.I.T.E. Album Definition... Why Hate Instead Take Everything”
