A sharp drop in the temperature of the water off the coast of North Carolina sent hundreds of sea turtles into a state of shock, requiring them to be rescued, reports WCTI Channel 12.
The two loggerhead sea turtles weighing in at 90 pounds and 125 pounds were both found weak in the wild, covered in parasites, and facing buoyancy issues.
Thai customs officers discovered several hundred live turtles as well as other uncommon animals in suitcases at the main airport in Bangkok, media reports on Thursday say.
