One of my fondest memories of my recent visit to Buenos Aires was shopping at the outdoor market in San Telmo. Each Sunday from 10 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m., the neighborhood transforms into a fascinating hub of antique vendors, artisans showcasing handmade goods, tango dancers, jazz musicians, and folks walking around with baskets selling homemade empanadas.
I have been experimenting with different breakfast ideas that are easy to prepare (even right in your hotel room) and can give you different options for your morning meal.
As you take your next trip, soak in not just the obvious tourist attractions but also the small things about the culture you are visiting. Hopefully, you too will find your own permanent souvenirs to bring back and enhance your own life and the lives of those around you.
Although it is hard to come up with any list of clothing suggestions for a trip to the steamy and sultry tropics, I have learned a few lessons I think are worth sharing.
