The Social Security Administration just released a statement announcing five key changes that will be made to the Social Security program starting in 2025...

‘Starting with the 2025 filing season, the IRS will make Direct File a permanent option for filing federal tax returns,’ said IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel.

A report has revealed that the Queensland government has received an extra $3.5 billion in stamp duty over the last 3 years.

A letter calling for an extra $10 billion of tax has been signed by mostly Green and independent councillors across the country.

So far, the IRS has delivered more than $200 billion in refunds through early April, and 101 million people have filed returns this tax season.

The bill is accompanied by Trump-era tax breaks for businesses.

The plan will, instead, see the government lower the tax rate for low and middle income earners.

‘We should all be worried that a future government will make this permanent,’ Libertarian MP David Limbrick said.

Australia Institute estimated that the government could raise nearly $1.5 billion a year with the tax while forcing companies to step up recycling efforts.
