HONG KONG—Khalsa-A won their match with Punjab-A last Sunday Dec. 14 to move into second place in the Hong Kong Hockey Association Premier Division standings and just 1-point behind leaders SSSC-A. Punjab-A have now dropped to 3rd place and are 3-points below the leaders at the half way stage of the HKFA Premier Division season.
Punjab-A and Singh Sabha Sports Club (SSSC-A) both won against lower level opponents on Sunday Dec. 7, but in the big match of last weekend HKFC-A were well and truly beaten by Khalsa-A in the Hong Kong Hockey Association Premier Division match at King’s Park.
HONG KONG—All of the top-3 men’s teams won their matches last weekend to maintain their respective positions in the table. Punjab-A and Singh Sabha Sports Club (SSS-A) are both on 25 points, but Punjab are ahead on goal difference. Punjab and SSC have only dropped 2-points by drawing when they played each other in their match on Oct. 26. Khalsa-A lost their match with SSC-A on Oct 19 and are now 3rd in the standings on 24-points but they are only 1-point behind the leaders.
