Moscow will revive the stalled Black Sea Grain Initiative if its demands for reciprocity are met, however, tensions continue to mount in the Black Sea as Russia targets Ukrainian seaports while fending off attack drones in the Crimean Peninsula.

Twice in the past three days, attack drones have struck a financial district in Moscow, posing what the Kremlin describes as a “clear and present” danger. Kyiv, for its part, has hailed recent attacks—in both Moscow and Crimea—while declining to take responsibility for them.

Russia hit buildings in Ukraine’s port city of Odessa with Missiles on Monday, according to Ukrainian officials. The attack was carried out on Russia’s Victory Day, a celebration of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.  After a ten-day manhunt, the prison guard and inmate who escaped from jail in Alabama have been captured. According to reports the corrections officer, Vicky White, was found injured. She later died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The inmate, Casey White, surrendered himself without incident late Monday in Indiana. The trial begins for a man who drove a car into multiple pedestrians at Times Square in 2017. He killed a woman and injured 22 other people. His trial was delayed multiple times over five years.
