Primary election night at City Council Speaker Christine Quinn’s election party location got off to a somber note on Tuesday night with a live broadcast speech by President Barack Obama on Syria.
Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and his wife arrived at the Hargrave Senior Center in Upper West, Manhattan, to cast their ballots in the primary with their two infant sons. Stringer is running for the city comptroller in a close race against Eliot Spitzer.
It felt like it wasn’t going to happen, but Anthony Weiner cast his vote at Baruch College’s Newman Hall on East 22nd Street this morning, on primary day, Sept. 10.
