Libertarian MLC John Ruddick proposed the legislation in the last session of the NSW Parliament. The City of Sydney is also currently reviewing alcohol bans.

The independent candidate received just 2 percent of the votes and was kicked out in the first round.

Voters at the party convention have chosen Chase Oliver over former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead their 2024 race to the White House.

“I’m asking for the Libertarian Party’s endorsement, or at least lots of your votes ... based on my four year, very outstanding presidential record,” he said.

The theme for the 2024 national gathering is “Become Ungovernable,” chosen to honor Americans who have resisted government overreaches in recent years.

The independent presidential candidate established ‘We The People’ in January to gain ballot access advantages in certain states.

Having left the Democratic Party and announced his independent run, Mr. Kennedy could more easily access all 50 state ballots as the Libertarian Party nominee.

Mr. Ruddick would cut every department associated with ‘global boiling.’
