LA County Sheriff’s Department to Start Collecting Face and Eye Scans
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted on Tuesday to allow the Sheriff’s Department to start spending more than $24 million in state funds for new identification technology, including palm prints, face recognition, and iris scans.
