Defending champion Kowloon Cricket Club and last year’s runners-up Kowloon Bowling Green Club both recorded an 8-0 victory over the weekend to maintain their leadership in Division 1 of the Lawn Bowls Premier League.
Defending champion Kowloon Cricket Club climbed to pole position of the Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association Premier League for the first time this season. Their climb to the top came as a result of winning their home game against newly-promoted Island Lawn Bowls Club and some favourable results from teams around them.
The defending champion Kowloon Cricket Club dropped to a new low after gaining only four points from the last two games, allowing arch-rival Kowloon Bowling Green Club (KBGC) to open up a gap of six points after just four rounds into Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association’s 2013 Premier League season.
