Defending champion Kowloon Cricket Club climbed to pole position of the Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association Premier League for the first time this season. Their climb to the top came as a result of winning their home game against newly-promoted Island Lawn Bowls Club and some favourable results from teams around them.
The defending champion Kowloon Cricket Club dropped to a new low after gaining only four points from the last two games, allowing arch-rival Kowloon Bowling Green Club (KBGC) to open up a gap of six points after just four rounds into Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association’s 2013 Premier League season.
A new look Kowloon Cricket Club team consisting three of Hong Kong’s best bowlers failed to get the defending champions off to a flying start in the first game of the 2013 Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association Premier League season. However, they do sit equal top in the standings.
Kowloon Cricket Club (KCC) and Pakistan Association AMSUA had big wins in the final 2-Day matches played last Saturday and Sunday (April 27 and 28) to conclude Premier Division matches for the 2012-13 season.
