Nusantara, Indonesia’s new capital city, has been beset by delays but finally became the centre of the country’s independence celebrations this weekend.
Although rarely hyphenated in the manner of India-China, India and Indonesia perhaps have more in common with each other than any other two countries. These similarities are largely invisible to the nations themselves and the world at large.
