This comes just days after a flight from Brisbane to Adelaide was forced to make an emergency landing due to concerns about the braking system

Members on May 17 closed one in four hospital beds and cancelled some surgeries for about eight hours because of the industrial dispute.

The current 19-month period of strikes has resulted in the highest number of missed working days in more than 30 years.

The industrial action will affect billions of dollars worth of crucial renewables and transmission projects, the union said.
