Khalsa-A arrived at King’s Park last Sunday expecting to leave for celebrations to wrap up the Premier League title with five games to run, needing three wins to take the title.
Defending champion Kowloon Cricket Club climbed to pole position of the Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association Premier League for the first time this season. Their climb to the top came as a result of winning their home game against newly-promoted Island Lawn Bowls Club and some favourable results from teams around them.
Following their games against KCC, Khalsa and HKFC, on April 8 and 9, respectively, the Australian Country Men and Women Teams met the Hong Kong National teams on the evenings of Thursday and Friday April 11 and 12, respectively.
It was a pretty spectacular few days of hockey at the HKFC across the Easter weekend with the 11 a-side international as a starter and then two rounds of Hockey 5’s, as well as a full sixes tournament.
