Large hailstones, severe thunderstorms and “apocalyptic” dust storms battered parts of south-eastern Australia.

A Mexican city was covered in ice after a freakish summer hailstorm.

All throughout social media, residents posted photos and videos of their homes and cars, which were mangled by the baseball-sized chunks of ice.
