Rumors have been spreading on China’s Internet that Guo Boxiong, a former vice chairman of China’s Central Military Commission, has recently attempted to flee China.

China’s Ministry of Public Security has recently launched a special campaign called “Fox Hunting 2014” seeking to arrest economic criminals who fled China, including many corrupt officials.

Over one hundred flights between Beijing and Shanghai were canceled in the afternoon of July 14.
