The Department of Transportation is asking airlines to be more transparent.

Significant flight delays will give us a right to a full refund from the airline or travel agency we booked from.

There are people unhappy with frequent flyer programs but there isn’t much being done to regulate them.

If the airline delays or cancels your flight and it doesn’t offer a solution to your liking, you should be issued a refund without you asking for it.
