During the days before the suspect in a child’s death by stabbing, Daniel St. Hubert, was captured, some of us found it hard to describe covering the story to others. There was a possible serial stabber on the loose somewhere in New York City.

Daniel St. Hubert, 27, the man accused of attacking two children last week in Brooklyn, was indicted on Wednesday in Kings County Supreme Court in Brooklyn. St. Hubert is accused of fatally stabbing Prince Joshua Avitto, 6, and seriously wounding Mikayla Capers, 7.

The man accused of stabbing two children, one fatally, was scheduled to be arraigned Friday at the Central Court Building in downtown Brooklyn.

The prime suspect in the killing of a 6-year-old boy was apprehended by the NYPD just after 8 p.m. on Wednesday night in Queens, police said.
