The hunt took two years, covered two countries and three states, but on Monday the police finally got their man in New York City’s iconic West Village. At about 1 p.m., a joint fugitive task force of U.S. marshals and NYPD officers apprehended accused child molester Charles Mozdir, 32.

Two U.S Marshals and one NYPD officer was shot this afternoon on 117 West 4th St and MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village
