The Toronto Argonauts know how to win Grey Cups, and for all the greatness the Calgary Stampeders have shown during the regular season, the “choker” tag in Grey Cups is proving hard to shed.
The Ottawa Redblacks led the Calgary Stampeders 27–7 in the third quarter and 33–23 with less than two minutes to play in the fourth quarter at BMO Field.
Henry Burris found Greg Ellingson for a spectacular 93-yard catch-and-run touchdown with 1:25 left to play in the fourth quarter sending the Ottawa Redblacks to their first Grey Cup since 1981.
Toronto and Calgary look to be in good shape as they host struggling visitors Edmonton and Saskatchewan, respectively, as the CFL playoffs begin this Sunday.
