Is Flappy Bird going to return to the app store, ever?

Yes, but the timeline is unclear.

Dong Nguyen, the creator of the addicting yet simple game, told a fan on Twitter this week that the game will return, “but not soon.”

He removed the game from the app store after it made his life difficult and he felt people were becoming too addicted to it.

Some people still have the game on their phone but without it on the app store it’s difficult to obtain it.

People even began selling phones with the game pre-loaded on eBay and other websites.

Nguyen is also developing several other games, he said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.

Meanwhile, another game has skyrocketed in popularity, though no app is available for it. That would be the puzzle game 2048.
