Dr. Jingduan Yang is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in integrative and traditional Chinese medicine. He is the founder and medical director of the Yang Institute of Integrative Medicine and the American Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and the CEO of Northern Medical Center in New York.  Following his family’s tradition, Yang is a fifth-generation teacher and practitioner of Chinese medicine, specializing in acupuncture. He uniquely incorporates acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, neuro-emotional technique, nutritional and dietary consultation, psychotherapy, and medication management for the care of patients with a variety of emotional and physical illnesses, including chronic pain, stress, and anxiety. He once worked in clinical psychopharmacology at Oxford University. He co-authored two books, "Facing East: Ancient Secrets for Beauty+Health for Modern Age" and "Clinical Acupuncture and Ancient Chinese Medicine."
