The Democratic National Convention took place in Chicago from Aug. 19 to 22. Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz formally accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president and vice president.
The United Center, home of NBA team Chicago Bulls and NHL team Blackhawks, hosted evening rallies, which featured speeches by notable Democrats. Daytime events, such as party caucuses and other meetings, took place at McCormick Place, about five miles away.
Speakers included President Joe Biden, former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, former First Lady Michelle Obama, and 2020 presidential nominee and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
The Epoch Times’ sister outlet, NTD Television Network, presented special live coverage of the convention each day, starting at 5 p.m. ET, with on-the-ground reporting, special guests, and more.
