While House Republicans reached a consensus on a nominee for the speaker position in Washington on Wednesday, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) warned reporters that Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) still needs to garner more support among his own party’s representatives to win enough votes to be elected to the post.
