Biden on Released American Prisoners: ‘Their Brutal Ordeal Is Over’

President Joe Biden announced the return of Americans Evan Gershkovich and Paul Whelan in a 24-person prisoner swap with Russia involving four other countries on Thursday. During his address, Biden thanked his administration and allies who helped negotiate the exchange and facilitate the return home of all of those imprisoned.
