Two teenagers wanted to watch the new Marvel superhero film “Black Panther,” but they did not want to fork out the money for two movie tickets.
So instead, they tried to sneak in and trick the theater’s manager. The duo used the oldest trick in the book, with one of them climbing onto his friend’s shoulders as a disguise for a very tall man in a trench coat.
They then topped off their outfit by buttoning up the coat and donning a fedora before standing in line for a ticket.
It was all recorded on camera and has become a viral video.
When one of the teenagers asked for “one to Black Panther” the ticket attendant was not fooled.
“You have to get down, man,” he said in the video.
The two teens started laughing, but they still kept up their disguise.
“Get down from what?” the teen asked.
The ticket attendant still didn’t buy it: “We can’t let you in unless you get down,” he said.
The duo walked away in disappointment, but the footage has gone viral on Twitter, gaining over 9 million views after it was posted on Friday, Feb. 16.
It’s unclear where the theater was located, but the user named Pillsbury who posted the video, is from Carson, California, according to his Twitter bio.
