A report on Dec. 6 said that “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Duane Chapman’s wife’s throat cancer has spread elsewhere in her body.

The Blast, a celebrity news website similar to TMZ, said its sources claimed that Beth Chapman “recently underwent tests to determine just how far her throat cancer spread,” and it added there was a “large blockage” in her throat caused by cancer.

It added that treatment methods for Chapman are not clear. The couple is awaiting test results to determine what her options are.

Duane Chapman this week told Us Magazine that he and his wife returned to Colorado, apparently against the wishes of her doctor in Los Angeles.

“They told us they didn’t want her to leave the hospital, but she was adamant, she just wanted to be home… she just wanted to come back to Colorado, she loves it here,” he told the magazine. “We have the test results coming in tomorrow.”

“[We] were met by friends when we landed who brought us home,” he said of going to Colorado. “Beth slept for almost an entire day, and she was more comfortable, then she got up and she was trying to do things around the house, trying to do laundry and wash the dishes, I said to her, ‘I’ve done all that, don’t worry.’”

“Yes, I’m nervous about the test results,” he said earlier this week, adding: “It’s like you kinda know what’s gonna happen, but you’re hoping and praying it’s not.”

Previously, Duane said his wife is “not doing good” when asked by a reporter.

In another interview this week, Duane said it’s “not the end of the road” for his wife. “‘Another bend in the road, yet not the end of the road, #faith, #love #stayhumblepray.’ Beth Chapman,” Duane Chapman wrote on Facebook on Nov. 29 on Facebook. It shows a photo of him and Beth in bed.
“Beth is still at the hospital recovering from Tuesday’s surgery,” their family attorney, Andrew Brettler, told ETOnline. “Her family is with her and she is trying to stay in good spirits. We’re all still rooting for her and her doctors, who are working hard and running tests to come up with the best treatment option.”

In 2017, Beth Chapman had surgery to remove a tumor from her throat, and two months later, she declared herself cancer-free.

In the fight against cancer last year, the two credited their family’s faith.

“Faith is probably the number one thing in our lives, no matter what we’re faced with. … Through this cancer episode, we had to drum up as much faith as we could. And the Bible talks about having faith as small as a mustard seed. And that’s not much. … And I thank God that we had at least that much faith to get her through that,” Duane said at the time.
